Olivia Milles

Hello! My name is Olivia Milles, and I am a graphic designer who calls Somerset, Wisconsin home. Growing up, art was never something I considered a potential career path for me as I always felt I wasn’t good at it. It took one art teacher encouraging me to take a class she thought I’d enjoy for me to rekindle my love of art. This class, a computer graphics class, led me to research potential careers, and graphic design really stood out to me. Aside from my graphic design career, I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, enjoying my favorite activities such as gaming and listening to music, and volunteering at my church. I take pride in caring for my pets, enjoy taking long walks with my siblings, and adore my Sunday school students.

For the last six years, I have grown from a high school art student, to a college student studying graphic design, and even sprinkling in some freelance work. I have done some hand-drawn design work including hand-drawing the invitations for my high school prom, as well as illustrative character commissions and other similar handwork. I have also created some graphics for my church on a volunteer basis. In addition, I have done a lot of student work over the course of three years at Century College. Over this time, I have developed an interest in advertising design, package design, and branding design, although I still do enjoy the more illustrative side of my work. Overall, I can’t wait to enter into and grow in the vast and expansive world of the graphic design industry.
