Alisha Molino

Hello my name is Alisha Molino and how I got into graphic design was when I was in my second year at my transition school, they offered us 916. At the time I thought I would be good at going into animal science and the veterinary route but, I can’t see blood or needles so that wouldn’t have worked out. Then they offered me to go into Design and Digital Media at the time. I felt like I was meant for this my creative side was coming out and I was following in my grandpa’s footsteps. Through the program I became a 916-student ambassador and an outstanding student in Design and Digital media.

Now in 2024 I’m glad to be saying that I will be graduating from century college with a degree in graphic design. Though if it wasn’t for the help of John Kothera one of the many teachers in the GRDP department I would have never gotten there. To think that my real-life project got picked for the concert band spring concert and is being put all over social media and the college is a big accomplishment for me. In other words, don’t give up on pursuing your dreams.

In the future my dream job is to design an app for people how are hard of hearing or deaf to show people how are not how it is to live day by day living with disability because I’m hard of hearing. If that were to fall through, I’d work for a local company in need of a graphic designer or be a freelance graphic designer.
